Roles and Responsibilities
§ Management
- Cross-functional
collaboration
§ Clinical
activities
- Support
during local Investigator meetings for global trials
- Coordinate
with Clinical Operations for rPMS trials
§ KOL
Engagement
- Execute
MKL activities like scientific expert meetings, symposia, etc.
- Implement
KOL engagement strategy, including KOL mapping, relevant HCP identification,
and HCP interaction planning.
- Implement
KOL engagement strategy cross-functionally to achieve higher advocacy/awareness
of MKL products.
- Support
KOL/HCP meetings and advisory boards by developing contents based on
scientific/medical expertise and scientific communication skills.
§ Publication
Planning
- Ensure the
adequacy of publication messages in accordance with clinical data and brand
strategy.
- Support
the implementation of the Publication Plan of assigned products including
original articles from MKL clinical trials, secondary and review articles, and
academic presentations at congresses.
§ Scientific
and medical education
- Support
the development of and execute medical training and communication strategy
- Develop
and revise product manual and other training materials, and conduct internal
training meetings.
- Provide
medical/scientific information to internal and external customers including
advanced Q&A.
§ Medical
guidance
- Support
Marketing teams to develop brand plan by providing product-related medical and
scientific expertise, and by providing data through publications
- Support
scientific story line development fully taking advantages of medical/scientific
expertise.
- Support
and review promotional materials and commercial meeting contents from medical
and scientific viewpoints
§ Extra:
- Domestic
and International travel required.
Qualifications
and Experience
Educational
Qualifications : Advanced
degree in health sciences (Pharmacist, Pharm D., M.D., Ph.D. in a medically
related field) required with 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic
experience desired. Masters or Bachelors level degree in health sciences
(RN, RPh, PA, Certified Diabetes Educator, NP, etc.)
Relevant
Experience :
§ 5 or more
years clinical, research or industry (medical/scientific role) experience in
relevant therapeutic area is present
§ Strong
interpersonal skills, including capability to engage in professional
relationship build-ing and networking
§ Intellectual
curiosity and intelligence about the field of science/medicine for which they
are responsible
§ Highly
motivated and capable of comprehending large amounts of scientific content
which is then communicated in a clear, concise fashion
§ Significant
direct experience in servicing customer needs for complex information
§ Demonstrated
success in self-managing priorities and multi-tasking projects
§ Ability to
work effectively and share information within a team environment
§ Advanced
presentation skills
§ Expertise
in literature identification and evaluation
§ Familiarity
with the academic community and the medical research and medical education
process
Language
Requirements (if any) : Proficiency in written English
(sufficient to read and understand procedures, training and medical literature)
